"If you can only order one dish here, Seng Bulgogi is a must. Easily one of the most memorable Korean BBQ beef dishes in Rowland Heights. The beef is sliced paper-thin yet incredibly tender, grilled to perfection. The marinade is well-balanced--flavorful without overpowering the natural taste of the beef. The mushrooms and vegetables soak up the meat juices, adding depth and richness without feeling greasy. It's cooked tableside, and the aroma alone tells you you made the right choice. Portions are generous (there is a minimum order), but it's absolutely worth it, especially for sharing. Coming to Ong Ga Nae and skipping the Seng Bulgogi would be a mistake. Consistently high quality, bold flavor, and a true signature dish."

"Nice clean restaurant offering a great menu. Service was so attentive. I was being helped even before I knew I needed help. It's like they could anticipate my desires! This restaurant has a great alternative to Korean bbq as this is made with an amazing broth! Seng Bulgogi combines the grilling flavor with a comforting soup element and I am here for it! They use a mountain of fresh, raw beef slices cooked right in front of you in a broth with onions, mushrooms and veggies! While this dish is the one to come for they also have a menu full of favorites including seasoned wagyu beef tartare, crispy seafood pancakes, seafood casserole, hot stone bibimbap and cold noodles. They even offer lunch specials Mon - Sunday."

"I just had a recent dinner here and the food and service was amazing. The seng bulgogi was so flavorful and juicy with their house broth that they make in house. Other stars of the show were the squid hot stone bibimbap that shouldn't be missed, and make sure you let that rice crisp up a little. But the one item that people seem to forget about is the kimchee stew. It's so comforting and helps cut through the grease with the slight tang from the fermented kimchi. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Thank you team ong ga nae for a wonderful dining experience"

"Authentic Korean restaurant with consistently delicious food. What makes it extra special is that they change one or two side dishes every week, keeping the experience fresh and exciting. Always a treat to come back."

"Saw this spot all over socials, so I was really excited to try this spot out. Parking: Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: We were greeted and seated immediately once we walked in. It's a very casual spot with booth and table seating. Great for all group sizes. Service: Shout out to Jung for the hospitality and being attentive, quick, & efficient! She cooked all the meats and vegetables for us, refilled our waters, and checked on us constantly. Foods: 1. Seng Bulgogi - A mountain of meat is what they call it. Indeed it is lol! These were grilled thin slices of tender beef with mushroom and vegetables. It's the perfect hot pot and KBBQ all in one. It was also served with a lot of banchan and a delicious hot sauce. The soup was delicious. Jung taught us different ways of eating this: rice paper+meat, radish+meat, cilantro salad+meat, rice+soup+meat, and noodles+soup+meat. I tried all options and added my own toppings as well. I liked the radish+meat+banchan combo the best! 2. Yuk Gae Jang - This is a spicy broth with beef, vegetables, and glass noodles. The soup was definitely spicyyy and very flavorful! The noodles and beef were cooked well. 3. Cinnamon Tea Dessert - Complimentary dessert at the end! I forgot what these were called exactly, but it smelled sooo good! It's a warm tea (I think) with cinnamon. Pricing: The portions are definitely worth its price! The Seng Bulgogi is shareable between 2 people! Will be back for more!"

"If you're all about an incredible dining experience and a unique cooking method to enjoy Korean BBQ, then you have to try Seng Bulgogi (saengbulgogi) in all its glory at Ong Ga Nae BBQ, located in the SGV's very own Rowland Heights. This Korean dish, directly translated as "fresh fire meat," features thinly sliced unmarinated beef cooked quickly over high heat, often with vegetables and a sweet-savory broth poured over it. Don't know how to cook it? Leave the heavy lifting (cooking) to the sweet, attentive staff and enjoy their bountiful offerings of banchan or side dishes while you watch and drool (wait). Dining here may be reminiscent of having a meal at someone's moms house and I love that feeling You will see every table in the restaurant order Seng Bulgogi, but there's also an entire menu of traditional and authentic dishes, like their Dumplings & Sliced Rice Cakes in Beef Broth, my go-to especially on a cold, rainy day We had: Seng Bulgogi, Dumplings & sliced rice cakes in beef broth"

"This restaurant has been around for a long time. The interior is not that modern. Ordered their signature seng bulgogi. Pretty tasty. Probably will come back to try their other dishes."
